On Eli's actual birthday, he woke up and immediately wanted to open a few presents. Of course, we went ahead and let him. That's how we roll around here.
Dora was excited because she'd gone with me to pick them all out. You can see Emmy back there angling for a swedish fish (that was Brian's present to Eli. Emmy loves them. Kept asking for "fish fish")
Tessa is my biggest eating baby. She loves food and she demands more every single meal. Haha.

Later in the day, Grandma Carla came over with MORE presents. Oh, Eli. Great day, kid. It's the birthday that just keeps going. First Schlitterbahn. Then family party. Then actual birthday morning presents. Then actual birthday afternoon presents. Sheesh.

Eli loved the Socker Boppers (Dora picked them for Emmy to give to Eli) but everyone else loves to take them from him too.

Luckily these don't really hurt. Emmy was all about the bopping with them.
We had special Proscuitto wood fired pizza for dinner. Emmy got dressed up for the occasion. Pizza eaten with white feathered gloves? Check.
