Libby's visit and the mutton busting

We took Libby and west to the all star grill.

We had so much fun with Libby!! We want her to come back.

Then we went to the livestock show. Eli did mutton busting!! It was so fun!

Not sure how this ended up here but I'm not a good phone blogger.

Emmy liked the rodeo too.

Eli did great but on his first pass the sheep rammed him into the wall so he got to go again. I doubt anyone will watch all of these! Maybe my mom.

More dress ups. Eli found this leopard costume my mom made for Clint and Jesse.

The kids love eating outside. It's been outlawed recently because they keep throwing food and making messes!!

We have been going to a fulshear restaurant called all star grill.

The kids love the playground and we love the sweet sourdough hamburger buns!

Here are the big kids with their hats and bags.

Also here's Dora playing in a box.

And for the anniversary of jesses death we had chicken. We used shake and bake so we had to get the kids to do these.

I have a gazillion photos on my phone and I want to delete them so I have to post them.

Eli found one old batman flip flop and wore it with his batman croc which he said is fine because they are both batman.

I came downstairs and found this. My kids play weird. It's a toilet paper stone henge!!

Here are the kids playing a little dress up.

They said they can save people with these outfits.

My baby Girl is 10 months!!

I just can't express how much I love this little girl.  She will sit on my lap and let me squeeze her as much as I want (and if you know me, that's a lot lot lot.)  She never cries or squirms away like the last two.  She is such a little lap baby.  Poor thing almost never gets to sit with me though because... I have two other kids! And I have to clean things up and make dinner.  Oh well.

She has gotten to mommy crazy lately.  It's kind of annoying and it also makes me love her more.  She will cry when I try to give her to anyone else.  (Except Dad.  Sometimes she even wants Dad over me.)

I love her little grin.  You can see it in this photo below.  I get that grin every single time I get her from her crib.  Or walk into the room and pay her some attention.  Oh I love those tiny feet, those big cheeks, those chunky thighs and those huge blue eyes.  I love her tiny blonde fuzz.  And I love her four little teeth.  Every thing she can reach goes into her mouth, including my watch and necklaces.  Silly Emmy!

One more "boring mom comment".  The other kids love her so much.  Dora was lost last week.  We were panicked.  We seriously looked everywhere.  Outside, inside, the cars.  Finally it occurred to us to check Emmy's room?? She was down for a nap so I knew Dora wouldn't be in there.

But she was.  She'd climbed up in Emmy's bed and they were playing with the box of toys Dora had put in Emmy's crib.  Annoying since she woke Emmy up but also precious.  Eli is the best kid you could ask for with Emmy--playing with her and making her smile.   I love my kids!

This is my favorite of all the photos.  I am getting better.  I took like 40 photos.  I only put up four!! (Of the ones in the pink hat.)  Yes, she has squash on her nose here that I didn't quite get wiped off.  If you'd seen how much I DID wipe off, you'd be more impressed. Yes, she was trying to pull the hat off.  Bless Gymboree for putting those velcro tabs on it!!

 Cutie!
Eli and Whit were swimming when I got these photos.  Here's my cute men!!

 My hottie!!
My little man! I love him so much!

Grandma Lila "Jean" turns 60!!

Grandma Lila came to visit for a week.  The kids were delighted.  On Sunday, she turned 60!  What a fun time to have her come visit.  Eli and Dora were pretty excited.  They learned her middle name is Jean and they have another Grandma Jean (Great Grandma Jean) so they kept confusing things and calling Grandma Lila "Grandma Jean."  Oh well.  She knew who they meant.

 Two cute sisters.

 More silly faces from Eli.
We "made" Lila a cake (I bought it myself!) and sang.  Eli helped her blow out the candles.

My camera got all grumpy so I just got two shots.  The one below "the build up" and the one below that, "after the blow out."  Oh well.

Here's a shot of everyone enjoying the cake.

Then came some presents.  Fun fun!
You can't see them because I didn't take photos but my parents are there too.  That's who Lila is smiling at.

Whit will be mad at me but I had to post this.  Dora got tired of wearing her "big heavy" skirt and took it off.  I think it's SO funny to see a little baby girl walking around with one side of her underpants all hiked up. Haha.

Eli sure was sad his Grandma Lila had to go home.
