Money Money Money!

There is a story my parents tell about me--apparently when I was little, I would toss food down from my high chair and as soon as I got down, go gather it and hide it under the couch. My mom would clean under the couch and find a stash of disgusting food I had saved there. She presumed I was interested in hiding it away for a rainy day.

Today I was picking up the house and look what I found in Eli's restaurant cash register!?

That's right. That little rascal has been finding coins from all over the house and filling the cash register with them. When I went to clean it out, he insisted on carrying it around, terrified I might take it away from him. What did he carry it in, you wonder? A plastic Easter egg. I think it may catch on and replace wallets. They are cheap, stylish and come in lots of colors. Ha.

Also, I snapped a few shots of Dora playing.

Eli was pea green with envy that Dora was getting attention so he came over to be in the photos too!

It was really funny, after this photo, I put Dora on my tummy and he was so jealous that he came over and sat on me too! I didn't have anyone else around so no photos of that. Weird little kid!

Isn't my angel precious!? Last night she slept from 7 pm until 4 am! I LOVE this new sleep program I have her on. Totally worth every penny I paid.

Also, a grumble. We are having to replace our water heater! Darn it! We just have one year left to make it through. Grrr.

Isadora Sits Up!!

I almost forgot to post these! Dora sits on her own now for a good 20 second stretch...

One small note: I just noticed that if you make the last photo big, you can totally see her two tiny teeth! :-)

Yoga already!?

Isadora is a little roller--she rolls all the time and has already started to mini-scoot. She is all about the action. But, I think the funniest thing she does is baby yoga:

She does the trunk twisting poses all the time. Look at her smiling!

Here's a cute shot of Eli and Dad hugging. What a sweet little boy!

YES, for those of you with good eyes. That's a sign intended to motivate me to eat less behind Whitney. So far I am failing abysmally to lose the last 15 pounds. I have 14 pounds still to go!! I blame Whitney, who keeps pushing fatty things my way. Yesterday he took me to OUTBACK! SHEESH! You'd think he WANTS a fat wife!

Eavesdropping

I just eavesdropped on a conversation between Eli and Whitney.

Eli: Wawa Eeeessss (Translation--I want some Water, Please.)

Whitney: If I give it to you, will you dump it on the floor?

Eli: Wah (Translation: Yeah.)

Whitney: I'm not giving it to you, then.

Eli: Eeeessss (Translation: Please?)

Whitney: No.

*crying ensues*

At least he's honest.

TWO year checkup

I can't believe my baby boy is already two!! I bought him his first pair of underwear (which Whitney thinks is way premature--he is showing no signs of potty training, but I just know it will happen soon--I hate diapers!!)

Anyhow, he went to the doctor's office, which he hated. He actually remembered it from 6 months ago and began crying immediately on impact. He had dipped at 18 months and was in the 75% for weight because he had been sick immediately before his appointment. He's back up at the 90th for everything now though. :-)

Height: 36.5 inches (93 %)
Weight: 33.22 pounds (94%)
Head: 49.9 inches (80%)

We sure love our little one man wrecking crew!!

Oh and he now says who is in his family... Dada, Mama, Bebe, Nana! He includes Emma. Haha.

HersheyPark with Clinsey

On Monday we all went to the Park... Hershey Park, that is. We had a great time, and Hayley went on her first roller coaster! Eli went on it two more times and liked it lots. I am so proud of my little Hershey Kiss!

Hayley didn't like the frog hopper much, but she liked some of the other rides a lot...

Eli still loves the trucks, inexplicably!

And he's big enough for the airplanes now! Here was Hayley on the airplanes...

While the boys went to do the Great Bear (roller coaster), Linsey and I were hand delivered flowers that had been purloined by Eli... So sweet...

Here's a smiley Colin--enjoying the crowds to watch.

Dora, with her abs of steel, insisted on sitting up for like 45 minutes! I can't believe how well she sits already--she's only 5 months old!!

Hayley and Eli loved the pony carts. (And the Amtrak, but somehow we didn't get photos of that.)

This little turkey climbed into the car and over into the driver's seat on his own the other day. Apparently he already wants to drive!?

Not for a long time yet, you little scooter!

Here is Eli with Dora on his lap--laying down together and happy. Too cute to miss, right? :-)

Niagara Falls and Palmyra with Clinsey

WOW, we have been doing a lot of trips lately. We just got back from going to Niagara Falls and Palmyra with Clinsey and crew. We had a great time! This is from our little stop to get lunch. Eli loved this huge tree!

He IS a mischeif maker. Aptly labelled...

Hayley is SO stinkin' cute! We had dinner in Niagara Falls at TGI Friday's and the hotel was GORGEOUS with an amazing view.

Here are a few quick shots before we headed over to Palmyra.

Eli was sad we couldn't get out for longer.

Fun Family of Four...

Also, that was Dora's first trip out of the country! This is at the Hill Cumorah.

We miscalculated a bit--it was the second to last night of the Hill Cumorah pageant so it was packed!

It was overcast, which kept it from being too hot and meant pretty photos! After this we hit Mark's pizza--famous Palmyra site.

Eli was helping push sister...

Dora with her hood up to keep off the drizzle... Isn't she tiny!? So cute on dad.

This outfit came from Aunt Angela...Thanks Auntie!

Eli in the Grandin Press.

The Sacred Grove.

Dora was so cute with Dad!

Eli had fun at the grove...

Colin was cute!!

Colin all smiles...

Clint and Colin in the Sacred Grove.

Hayley happy as a clam!

Our little button got a second tooth!

What a fun family!

Linsey is too pretty for words--and looks fun here!
