Merry Christmas 2014

Here are the kids sitting by their preliminary piles here.  Don't they look happy?
Here are my angel sugar plum fairies on Christmas morning.  Eli and Dora were up at like 6 am on the button, but I got Tessa and Emmy around 6:45.  Oh they were all so cute.  The only one who really wanted to pose for photos was Tessa.

These kids are So happy and So cute!

Look at her little grins! All the kids got a mongrammed rolly suitcase and they each got 2 other presents from Santa.  I think between Santa and grandma, and us, the kids cleaned up pretty well.
One of the only things Eli asked for was a "worlds largest gummy worm."  It's 2 feet long.  It is also really really gross.  (To me.  Eli was delighted.)  He also wanted magnetic silly putty, which he got.
Here's my angel, Tessa! Oh look at her little face, her cute hair, her beautiful smile.  I could just eat her up.
These are the pajamas Grandma Lila sent.
Tessa opened presents by pulling off little tiny shreds one at a time, and the bows really foiled her plans.

Isn't that little man handsome?  You can see Eli's pile next to him.  They stacked their presents all up near or inside their luggage after I came down.  Kinda funny,
This is Tessa in front of her loot.
Here's Dora with her little parakeet.  Eli gave it to her and she LOVES it.  So cute.

Here's Emmy being a cutie. She was so easy and happy and carefree.
 Tessa sure loves her daddy.
Eli asked last week for a special hoody jacket that had a "sports team" on it.  Any team.  He just wanted something sports related.  I don't believe he's taken it off since opening it, other than for a shower.  Kinda weird, but he definitely likes it!
 Oh Tessa loves her grandma!

Does this girl have the most beautiful eyes you've ever seen, or what??

 Pretty cute smile, too.
Oh poor, tired Whit.  He was supposed to work Christmas eve.  Then last minute he took a buddy's shift (so yarima could go see the prince of Nigeria or something) and then they called him on the 23 and offered him a bonus to take christmas eve BACK again and he ended up taking it again... DOH so he was SO tired but we still had a great christmas anyway! Whit gave me three pairs of lululemon pants, a lulu shirt, a Tiffany's necklace I wanted, and a lot of amazing Body Shop stuff! Plus Brian and Brooke got me another pair of lulu pants.  My mom got me uggs.  I cleaned up!!! Great christmas morning! Whit did okay too... he is getting a suppressor and he got a biometric gun safe.  He also got some new jeans and the kids obviously got spoiled...

Whit was so tired here that he didn't immediately boot Foxy off the chair!

All Emmy wanted was a yellow bear and she adores it!! Sleeps with it, carries it around...

Tessa got this little plastic pink phone in her stocking and she loves it.  Carries it everywhere.  Kept telling people to "say cheese" and pressing the camera button.  So cute.
We had a very merry Christmas!!!

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve, we had the Nelsons (some friends from our new ward), Clinsey and crew, Brian and Brooke, Emma and Jon, and my parents all over for Christmas eve dinner and a little pageant!  Emmy was an angel.
 Dora was a shepherd.
 Emma and Jon looked smashing.
Here is Eli, the Narrator for the pageant, sitting on his stool and narrating.  He did so well, he was so cute and serious about it.  He even practiced it all once!
 Whit was the prophet Isaiah.
My dad was the prophet Micah.
 Here's Brian, the angel Gabriel!
Mary and Joseph came to ask for room in the Inn.  Innkeeper Colin turned them away but finally decided to send them to his barn.
Here are the angels telling the shepherds to come see the baby Jesus.
Here's Tessa, with her sheepskin over her shoulder.  She wasn't a very good sheep...
 Aren't they cute angels??
Here is Dora with our more obedient (and leashed) sheep.  We never did get Foxy to baa, though.
 My glowing little angel!!
Here are the cute little shepherds!

Angels and shepherds get bored when left alone...
My little narrator.  So handsome, so sweet.
Mary, Joseph and the baby.  ;)
Merry Christmas to anyone who reads this.  We are so grateful for the gift given by our Savior and the ongoing gift of His atonement.  Oh how we love the knowledge we have and the gospel in our lives.

Rehearsal Dinner

Jon and Emma had a rehearsal dinner at Saltgrass in Clear Lake.  Uncle Sherry and Aunt Janet, Uncle Dan and Aunt Anne and Emma's friends Melanie and Sarah all came, as well as me and Whit, my parents, Clint and Linsey and lots of Jon's family and friends. It was a big success!

I do love this man.  I'm glad Emma is lucky in love, now too!
