Pooltime Fun

Emma's apartment pool opened today so we headed over to play. Her friend Amber was still in town and Eli had a great time playing with Emma and Amber. Dora was happy, as usual (right up until the end.) Eli loved the kiddie pool.

I like the water spray in this one...

You can see how happy Dora was... She's TOTALLY interested in sucking on her hands all the time now.

Eli loves his Auntie Em...

She started this game of jumping into the pool to her and couldn't get him to stop!

After we went home, I promised Eli that Emma would be back after his bath. (He always takes at least 30 minutes playing in the tub.) Emma and Amber went home to change clothes, etc. He got in the tub, I scrubbed him up, rinsed him off and then he stood up and said, "All done." He took a 3 minute bath!! He was TOTALLY done and when he had his pajamas on he started howling for Nana. I thought he wouldn't remember (or would take long enough it wouldn't matter.) I won't make that mistake again. Here's Eli and his Nana.

Oh Bridget, these are so cute. He's got a whole new direction to drag you when you go outside now.

I love the colors your camera captures.

I'm so glad you wrote down your meeting story yesterday, too. It was fun to read it after hearing you tell it a few weeks ago. Did you get the syrup at the meeting or another activity?

What fun pool pictures. Thats awesome that the kiddie pool is only a foot deep...they can't do too much damage in there. you can tell that emma and eli have the cutest little bond! how lucky to have his auntie so close by and hands on!

Fun, fun, fun for the summer! How great to have a pool close by, accessible, and complete with NaNa! This will be a summer of fun times with Hershey Park, swimming pools, and Zoo America. Can hardly wait to come visit!

Aunties are the coolest. I can feel like the worst mom in the world but after five minutes with a neice or nephew, they'll have me convinced I hung the moon! Yay for Emma!
