Wildlife Safari

Last week we went on a family vacation to Bandon. On the way, we stopped at the Wildlife Safari to show my mom how much fun it was. The kids had a great time--Dora LOVED the owl and we got her a tiny owl--then later an owl purse. She's funny. She's talking so much now!

Here's Eli being a goat.
And Dora's a sheep.

Then Eli feeding the goats. He really wanted to feed this little black one. He hardly ever could because this bigger one kept scaring the black one away and taking the food and Eli was scared to let them eat right out of his hand.

That big thing that looks like the rat off of Princess Bride is called a copybara. It LOVED Dora and kept moving to wherever she was to be close to her!

This is just to give you an idea of how close you are to the animals on the safari part.

Oh and the baby cheetahs are so cute! Apparently they do NOT breed well in captivity and this is one of the world's most successful breeding programs for cheetahs.

We spent a LOT of time in the car, but the kids were really good about it. Here are Dora's crazy eyes.

Happy with a Dilly Bar.

And a blanket...
