Directions

I took a new route over to a friend's house to drop off a bag today. I accidentally turned a street early--and Eli immediately informed me that I'd gone the wrong way. I was supposed to keep going and turn on the next street. Anyone else LITERALLY have a 3 year old with better directional sense? I am not sure if it's a really pathetic commentary on me or really impressive he pays such good attention.
