So during the summer, we made a quick decision that Whit wanted to go full time with UTMB. Then I worked overtime and around the clock (while Whit did the same at his job) to get the house ready and list it. When we listed it, we had a person come through and they didn't like the house. So I spent more time (and money) and staged it. It was a good thing I did because the very next family that came through (later in the day that I finished) offered on it. They paid cash and wanted to close in just over 2 weeks. Gah! We should have been packing, but we didn't want to cancel our trip to Louisiana to see cousins. I was pretty worried about finding somewhere to live, but we went to Louisiana to see cousins and wish Megan luck on her mission anyway.
Here's my Emmy baby. Those blue eyes are AMAZING!
This little baby girl is growing up too fast.
We went and got beignets and then went to the zoo.
Oh how Tessa loved Jack and Merrick. She is so cute.
Oh little Tessa! Dora's such a good sister. Dora and Rush got along so well. They each kept calling one another best friends.
Here's our dear little cousin Megan. We are so sad to see her go, but proud of her for working so hard.
I just LOVE that Megan.
We went to the french quarter after the zoo and I got these two masks for $2 each! Cool huh?
The crew!
Eli was just on cloud NINE!
Here we are on the last morning. We cut our trip short by a day or two and only got to stay there for about 3 days. It was too bad to cut it short, but we have next year!
I love this little Emmy darling. We all went to the park and then chick fil a before we drove home. It was fun to see Shane and Tawnya's kids that morning, too!
A few days later we found our new house! It's so weird to think that it was just a possibility when we walked through, but now we live here!
