Universal Day Three

We spent our last day in the regular Universal theme park and guess what???? We LOVED it, too!!! SO FUN!!!

Here we are at the entrance to the park.  We'd been once before but we didn't see much and only stayed for a few minutes (on a park hopper pass)... So we had no idea it was so cool!

It started out really cold but it warmed up pretty quick.

Here we are in huh, oh wait, I think a few photos snuck in from our last ride on Day two of Universal!  Here are some family members in some fish!

And a shot on our way out of the park on Day Two at Universal! Whooops!!
Cute girl on a tiger, though, right??
Anyhow, here we are in front of the park on Day Three!!
We got there really early because we had a character breakfast to make it to.  The food was surprisingly good.  Emmy was DELIGHTED to see Scooby Doo!

Here we are at the breakfast.  The food was so good that I kind of was annoyed every time a character showed up!  This is Bit, the karate bunny from the movie Hop.
The kids were delighted to see Gru, from Despicable Me, but I think Whit might have been more excited!
 The minion was hilarious!!
I think it was safe to say the kids had fun!
Here's EB the (Easter Bunny) from Hop.  Emmy was pretty excited.  She got to hug him later...
Whit was excited to see Gru--Tessa didn't know what to make of him.
Emmy was scared at first, but then she really warmed up.
 Gru was really funny!
Here's Tessa trying to figure out what in the world is going on.
Look at Emmy loving on EB!
 Squidward showed up!
This is Emmy's face when Dora and Diego came in!!

 Love that little face!!!
Look at how happy Emmy is!  Dora was trying to play it cool, but she was pretty excited, too.  Eli was a good sport.

Before we got to Springfield, Eli and Dora went with Whit to do the Transformer's ride and then right before the ride, Eli freaked out!  Whit was kind of disappointed... but then we moved on to Springfield!!  Whit was as excited as the kids were to see Dora and Diego when we got to see Springfield.
 LARD LAD!!
 Krusty Burgers!!!
Whit loved the theme park, but this ride was hilarious and then we went on another Simpson's ride, too!
 The girls were so cute!
While we were sitting in line for the Simpson's ride, a squirrel went up and crawled all over our stroller!! Hilarious!!

We went to this famous animals show which was REALLY cute and the kids got to meet some of the trained animals that had been in lots of things.  This was the dog from Marley and Me.  We met the dog from a handful of other things, too, among them, Men In Black and hotel for dogs.
This bird is a turkey vulture or something--in Hunger Games 3!  Pretty cool! Love Emmy's face here!
 Dora was SO excited!
Tessa was as sweet as always!
I had people coming up from all over telling me how cute she is.  She is SUCH a flirt!!

At Fievel's playground, we found this water ride that was awesome... the kids went down it like 20 times.  Look at their faces!! They kept going down it over and over, water rides in the cold?? WHY NOT!!!!
Look! They'd run through the exit and just run back up to the top again.

Whit took Emmy over and over, too.  He's a really good dad!!!
 Look at these two!!!

Loving this little adorable baby! And the husband couldn't be better!!

 Zoom!!!
Dora got a Lard Lad donut!! SO BIG! She was so excited!

We had a great taco lunch, augmented by donuts... the seagulls really appreciated our contributions...
THAT is a cute little baby, eh??
 Fievel's kid zone was AWESOME!!!
Here's Boots.. Emmy was so excited!
Emmy was giddy about the Jaguar, too!! Loving Dora's face and paws!!
Loved the Curious George and the Man in the Yellow Hat!! So cute!! Emmy was so happy!! She LOVES curious george!

Look at George playing with Emmy's hair! So cute!!
While Whit and Dora went on a Despicable Me ride, Emmy and I met the daughters...
Eli was sick (started feeling bad and crashed around 1 pm.) but we saw a transformer bad guy... He wanted a shot without standing up!
Here's Tessa in a Banana hat!! Cute, right??
We waited in a really really long line to see Shrek.  It was worth it, though.  The Donkey spoke and it was hilarious.  The little kids weren't sure what to do with Shrek... he was pretty big!  But everyone got to see him!  Even though Eli was sick in the stroller, he was happy to see Shrek, too.

Here's Eli in his stroller, poor kid.
