Trip to (Uncle) Haven's House

We came home last night from Uncle Haven's and the kids are really really sad that we came home. Well, Eli is really sad. Dora says she is "happy home" (happy to be home.) It was really cute, too.

Here are some photos of our 10 hour trip up and then down to Boise. Dora learned from Eli to stuff her pillow behind her head. Super-uncomfortable for a carseat because it pushes your head forward. Whoops.

Eli is giddy to be going to see Uncle Haven and the "older boy cousins".

Here are a few shots from our first day there. Dora and Clarissa did not actually play so great together--but they loved playing with the mama and baby animals together. It was cute. They would put the little ones on top and say "ride" like they were riding. Clarissa was born the same year as Eli a few months later, so she's a lot older than Dora, but they are pretty close to the same size...

Dora was really happy to get a cookie after her nap.

Dora and Elise are less than a year apart and they got along really well. I'd never seen little Elise before but she's DANG cute!

So on our way home (and there, too, actually) there was some really high water around the road, but on the way home they stopped us so we could take our turn to pass through the water on the low side of the road (where it was only a few inches instead of feet of water.) Sheesh...

You got some really cute pictures of Elise and Dora. Elise is darling. Love the picture of Dora and Clarissa on the elephant too.
The picture of you in the side mirror taking a picture of the water on the road is really fun!
