We were SO SO lucky to have Grandma Lila with us for over 6 weeks. She went to visit Cassidy for a week but otherwise she was with us for most of December and January! SWEET! She was a tremendous help, especially with baby Tessa.
When she and Papa Hugh came back from Cassidy's, we let them open their Christmas presents from us here in Texas. Grandma Lila got some scarves and a quilt made from Whit's scrubs and White coats.
We let my mom come over too... :-) Here she is with baby Tessa.
Papa Hugh worked hard and won Emmy over while he was here. She's a hard sell, so that was impressive!

Big Blue EYES! There was a nurse right after Tessa was born who insisted her eyes were brown. When we disagreed, she went on a really long rant about how there was nothing wrong with brown eyes. RIGHT, we agreed, but NONE of our kids have had brown eyes and neither Whit nor I do... so it would have been odd!
Pretty sure her eyes are BLUE! Love those pursed lips!
DORA is still Tessa's biggest fan. Now if I could let a day go by in which Dora doesn't hold her 5 times and get in her face (and wake her up) every 3 minutes...

It was great that Lila was able to come and help out so much. In fact I think it was invaluable!
As far as the matching clothes for the girls - do you hate me? If not, they probably won't hate you. I did some of the same thing.
