We went to Galveston on Good Friday. We left Tessa with my mom. We took a friend, Rachael and met Uncle Brian there. Fun day!! Eli was loving the water--really really. He didn't seem to care much that it was cold. We kept having to call him back in.
Emmy loved the water too, but she wanted a buddy, which was good. Eli was a little sand turtle when he got cold. He'd walk out to the hot sand and warm up!
Uncle Brian played with Emmy a lot. She'd take his hand and walk him out to dance with her in the water. He was a good sport.
My sand turtle!
Happy baby!
Dora played in the sand almost the whole time.
What a gorgeous little girl!
The sand building/wrecking crew...
Go Pound Sand!
Eli took a break from the water...
To have dad bury him. He's wearing Dora's sunglasses because that sun was bright!
Dora was next.
She got buried again and again. Because she loved it. And because Uncle Brian and dad can be talked into most anything.
Uncle Brian helped Dora eat lunch.
Eli ate on his own.
Dad fed Emmy. Watch out--she bites!
Love these swimsuit cover ups my mom got. The girls loved them too--they were cold!
My little flower!!
Emmy loved loved the dogs. And the birds. She walked all over trying to get one to let her touch it or pick it up. (Our chicks let her--she thinks every bird should.) Whit was brave and fed the birds. He got pooped on. Thrice. Yikes!
