Wow! I am really late doing this post. Eli is in kindergarten! I can't believe it. He is such a big kid now! He loves kindergarten. I'm so lucky I haven't had to try to convince him at all, during any step of the process, that this was a good idea. This little guy was SO SO ready. He wore his arrowhead the first day. It was the only thing we thought we could change up about the uniform.
Here he is in front of the house.
And in front of the school...Okay mom-go ahead and go already (in his classroom and in his seat).
Here he is when I picked him up! Love the face--MOM, why are you taking MORE photos!?
That day, Grandma Carla and Papa Don came over to welcome him home... and brought him a card with $5. I thought this was a good time to teach him about tithing. He did not agree. He is not sold on the idea yet and is completely baffled on why he should give $0.50 to God when his GRANDPARENTS gave him the money. Oh well. Baby steps! You can see he's not so excited about this.
The next day happened to be my birthday. It was not the finest day. Let's just say people were sick. I had a long day, and poor Whit had to work. But I felt loved. My mom and dad came over and brought me a new toaster oven, and a wooden necklace.
Eli was pretty excited for the new box!
Emma was there too!
Whit gave me a gorgeous necklace (not photographed for some reason.)
Then a few weeks later, we had our SIXTH anniversary for which Whit got me TWO rings. I'm pretty spoiled.
