Trip to Dallas for the Twins' Third Birthday

On Friday before their party, the twins, my mom, the kids and I all went to Six Flags. Sadly, the setting on my camera got spun to manual on accident so most of the photos didn't turn out...

The twins were not huge fans of this ride, but Jesse seems happy here!

They really liked the swings.

Dora really wanted to ride the plane with the big kids, so Jocelyn let the baby cousin ride with her. Joc loves babies and was so nice to her all weekend!

Even with the messed up camera I loved these two of Jesse. He's so happy!

The kids all loved the carousel, too.

Here's the only photo I got of the party. They were all blown out...

Dora totally sat and "read" the Book of Mormon in the hotel. It was cute.

I love her blue eyes!

She does this little thing we call "sweet eyes". She does them when I ask for them, too. She also says mama, dada, baba (bottle) and bac bac (for chickens) and makes a little horse sound for horses! She is so cute!!

The kids played happily together for longer than ever before in the sandbox.

Saturday night we went to "Going Bonkers" which Eli calls "Inside Park". He had a fun time, except he got a little scared when he went off on his own because there were so many big kids there. (Saturday night...)

The kids all got in a little ride at some point, and they were so happy!

Galveston

While Whitney was here, we went to Galveston to visit Cassidy and Bo, their cute kiddos and Jackie and her two cute kiddos. It was great fun! We are so sad for Cassidy that they lost their backyard--but the beach is still close. Here's Dora and Megan...

And the boyos... Carter and Eli.
All four handsome boys--
Carter was loving playing with Jackie's daughter. She was laughing a lot!

I thought Dora looked SO cute in her little swimsuit and crocs.

We went to the beach after naptimes. At first the kids were scared of the water but by the end they were all splashing around! Cassidy is such a cute mom--making sandcastles with her kiddos. The kids mostly smashed them, but they had a great time.

Carter was a cool dude with his little sunglasses and thumbs up!

Mostly we just had a great time! Dora was the first to brave the waves and Eli wanted to convince us he was a "tough guy" so he went in too!

I was there, too!

We miss you dad!!

Dad's Visit!!

So about two weeks ago, Whit came in for a week! (Well 4 days, but we wish it was a week.) WE MISS YOU! Whitney was scared the kids wouldn't really recognize him since it had been almost a month, but they were immediately giddy and clung to him like little burrs! It was so cute. (I totally wasn't jealous AT ALL.)

We found a great snow cone place. We all got our own, and we all donated to Dora's empty cup so hers looks like a chocolate snow-cone!

Obviously Whitney liked his. We all went to "Close Park".

I think Dora had the most fun.

Then we played some.
Also, look how static-y their hair gets after the slide! Hahah.

ZOO!! (Finally)

A few weeks ago (!!) we went to the zoo and met Cassidy and the kiddos there. It was a great time and we will have to do it again.

I love Dora's hair bow--my friend Annie does such a great job! She has an etsy shop if anyone wants some.

Eli liked the petting zoo... but they had a miscalculation--putting it by a playground. Every kid was more into the playground. I mean, you see GOATS everyday, but slides! Novelty... Oh wait.
In case you can't tell, Dora and I are in the hippo's mouth.

Everyone but my mom, who took the photo... (and I think Carter's ducked behind Eli).

I liked the baby elephant!

Dora likes to point--but I really wanted a photo of her with the giraffe since I put her in the giraffe outfit I got with gymbucks...
Dora's even got cute shoes on!!

So every night Eli asks for the same story--one about a purple and orange monkey. Eli is the purple monkey and Dora is the orange monkey (seems backwards, I know.) Anyhow, here are my monkeys with the orange monkey we found.

Misc Photos

I am so far behind now that I can't see the end of the Blog Catch Up ever... Haha. Here are a few misc photos of mostly Dora I think.

We went to Chuck E Cheese and Eli was not still enough for any photos, but here's Dora on the horse.

Here's Hayley's bday party. Eli was the only boy (other than Clint and Colin). The kids liked these hats--Eli wasn't such a fan though!

Hahah.
Dora slept like Rip Van Winkle in Colin's room. The humming from the A/C outside was so soothing that *I* wanted to lay down and sleep and never get up too!

Around the House

We have been eating a lot of french toast here--Eli asks for it almost every morning. Dora loves it too, as you can see...

We are also outside every day...

Eli and Dora both love the jeeps...

More posts to come--I am way behind!
