Happy Memorial Day!

TODAY IS MEMORIAL DAY!!!

It wasn't our best Memorial Day ever... Whit is working a 24 hour shift and Dora's sick and has been sick for four days (and Long Long nights).  Eli had to go to school because of ice days (they added it as a make up day!) Anyhow, we made the best of it.  Dora wasn't up to dressing up or photos, so I just shot photos of the little ones in their matching outfits.  Aren't they cute? Neither of them are much for photos, so you know, I did what I could.

This little girl gets bigger every minute and she has SUCH a big personality waiting to get out.  She is learning a new word every day.  Or ten.  It's crazy.  I want it to STOP!

 These two crack me up.
 See their matching hair bows!
 My blondie and my brunette!

Here's one of me and Dora... She was not feeling well but she made funny faces to try and get the girls to smile.

 LOVE these big blue eyes.
The girls love to touch flowers...
This little girl won't hold still, won't look at the camera and will never smile on command but geez, luiz, she's beautiful.

I know these photos are a little duplicative but I loved them all.

Since I got a few of Emmy up close, I tried for some cute ones of Tessa.  It didn't work very well.  She was DONE and wanted to go inside...

 She's still cute, though, right??

Later that day my dad took Emmy out for a walk in the rain and isn't she cute in her coat and boots?? :-)
 LOVE HER!

Blessington Farms!

We wanted to take the girls to pick strawberries while the bigger kids were at school and we didn't want to go all the way out to Froberg Farms, so I found one closer.  It's right behind Steve Beck's business, BenchMark.  It's a really cute place with a neat setup on their berries.  We had fun!  And got some beautiful berries, too.

I love this little girl.  She is either SUPER happy and cute or a REAL mess and there's not much in between!!

Tessa wanted to walk a lot of the time, which was kinda neat.

 My gorgeous little angel.
Oh but we got HOT! It is definitely summer now.
We picked two entire buckets of strawberries!

These geese showed up on our way out and when Whit didn't give them berries, they pecked his foot! OUCH! Instead of helping, I took a photo!  I am a GREAT wife!

The next day, we hosted a dinner party for Emma's boyfriend (Jon)'s mom and brother and sister in law who came in town for the weekend.  It was a fun time!

Children's Museum

Whit was working Saturday, but we decided to take the kids (my mom's idea) and go to the zoo.  It was a mad house there, so we drove over to the Children's Museum instead.  We had a fun time!!  Even Tessa had a good time!  Here she is with grandma!  Look how great Grandma's hair looks!
Eli might have had the best time of all.
Tessa LOVED this little golf ball roller thing. She did NOT want to leave.

Eli was a great brother, as always.  Look how Tessa was camped out here.
Tessa tried to come in on the fun and Tessa let her--some happy sister time!
My mom was a tremendous help, like always. I am really lucky to have such an amazing mother around. I was so very blessed to have her here.
Here are the girls playing around together.

I just ADORE this baby girl!

We played outside, too.  It was so fun! Tessa got all wet and didn't want to leave here either.
A little mommy baby time! Love Emmy's face here.
Oh and those baby cheeks and eyes.
Tessa didn't get an afternoon nap.  She is SO tired, but she was really a pretty good sport anyway. I didn't do my hair before we left, but I let my mom get a shot of me anyway.
Eli wanted to be in on the photo, too, which was pretty sweet.
The kids always enjoy the rockwall.

 Eli is getting pretty good!
Tessa's favorite thing, no doubt, was the bottom floor where you make little parachute people and send them up wind tunnels.  She figured out how to send them up really fast and just would not stop.  The best part was her little grin when she did it.  Love that baby!
Here she is putting one in.
 ZOOM!
There you can see it zipping up!
 And watching it!!
Eli is clearly having fun here, too!
What a cute, happy little girl!
This one was taken today (Sunday) while I was cooking.  Oh, how great a sister Dora is to Tessa, and OH how Tessa loves her.
These two make my heart happy!

I am so very very blessed!!!!
